A Christmas Message From Unifying Truth Project

In a season filled with wasteful behavior, our Christmas present to you is dedication towards finding and spreading truth for the benefit of everyone, everywhere.

Local, National, International (December 25, 2012) - As Christmas rolls around again, mankind continues to ignore the message of Christ. There is a way we can be fulfilled year round without wanting or needing anything more than life itself. Jesus said, "I have come so that you may have abundant life, for the way of mortals is a living death." Our behavior during the holiday season shows that mankind is in a state of waking sleep, a living death. Year after year, billions of people engage in wasteful behavior, caught up in materialism. This is the season when people are most easily distracted from seeking the truth.

Christmas is a time when people renew their belief in popular deceptions. Children are told the fairytale about Santa Claus and supernatural stories about the life of Jesus. Although this may seem harmless, children learn to be complacent with fantasy instead of facing and confronting the deceit of mankind. Jesus said, "Unless you become like little children, you cannot know the meaning of Life, for your minds must be cleared of the falsehoods of this realm if you are to be taught Eternal Truth." He is saying that children start out on the path of truth, pure of all of the lies in our world, but adults who are blind to the truth divert them off path.

Why is it that, come Christmas, we do the opposite of what Jesus asked us to do, and yet celebrate his birthday? So-called Christians are not even close to following Christ and honoring his message. Going through the motions at mass, singing songs, setting up nativity scenes, saying the name 'Jesus' and worshiping the way he may have looked 2000 years ago does not make you a Christian. The events in the life of Jesus are irrelevant, and remembering his life is not what he instructed us to do. The only thing that matters is his message. Jesus Christ clearly says that you can and will be as he is if you seek to know and live in the truth:  "I am the Way, the Truth, the Light, and the Life. Walk in me, and you will abide forever, for you will be even as I am."

If Christianity was truly serving its purpose and following the message of Jesus, our world would change, and we would not suffer as a result of enduring division. Christianity has been around for about 2000 years, and nothing has changed, because we have not transformed ourselves. Believing in religious myths will not transform us. Only the truth will do that. We must stop chasing worldly pleasures and believing in unreality. It is time to get honest and serious about seeking the truth.
